Survive!
In 2005 my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Today he has been Cancer FREE for 7 years! I can't tell you how happy we are for this blessing. We wore our Live Strong Bands everyday in support to his healing. So to all you out there fighting the fight this one is for you.
This is also my 200th Bunny Daze!!!
How appropriate :)

Gotta Love Mardi Gras - Show 'em and Throw 'em
The first time I went to New Orleans was at the tail end of Mardi Gras. I must say that was a memorable week etched in my brain. So with that I say cheers!

Come to the Waterfall of Life with a Bucket...Not a Teacup!!!
I heard a saying last night and I'm not sure this is exactly how it was said but this is the visual that popped into my head. So thanks to Grace or Sandra one of you girls who inspired this image.

purple elephants and blue dragons
Yesterday I was wandering through the house when I said aloud:
"There are just not enough purple elephants and blue dragons in this world"
Then from another room my husband John said...I think that should be your next Bunny Daze.
Yes... I wander through my house saying random thoughts forgetting that its not my "inside" voice
Good thing I have John to remind me ;)

Just Let It Happen
I remember Ground Hog Day so well from growing up in Pennsylvania -
the day Ol' Punxsutawney Phil would come out and tell us if winter was going
to stick around for 6 more weeks.
Some might think it's crazy to ask a ground hog this important question.
But who better to ask? I ask you that.
